Changes to 2025 North Korea Tours
North Korea Tour Updates 2025
17th December 2024 – We would like to inform you that YPT has removed our 2024, 2025, and 2026 North Korea tours from our website. This decision is not due to any cancellations, but rather a response to anticipated changes in tourism within the country.

Why Have 2025 2026 North Korea Tours Been Removed?
The removal of these tours is based on guidance from our local partners in the DPRK, who have informed us of significant upcoming changes to the country’s tourism landscape. These changes include the closure of certain destinations for tourism and the introduction of new sites for visitors.
Given these developments, our existing itineraries no longer align with the offerings that will be available when tourism resumes, expected in April 2025 (possibly as early as the Pyongyang Marathon event). As a result, we are temporarily removing these tours to ensure we only offer accurate and up-to-date itineraries. This has become an industry-wide practice, with other operators taking similar steps. Anyone advertising 2025 tours at this stage is, unfortunately, offering inaccurate information.

What Will 2025 North Korea Tours Look Like?
Below are three tour itinerary samples of what you can expect when North Korea first reopens to tourism.
Ultra Budget Independent Tour – 2 nights, 3 days – €445
North Korea Classic Tour – 4 nights, 5 days – €895
North Korea Mountain and Sea Tour – 6 nights, 7 days – €1395
Negotiations with our partners are still ongoing to further expand itinereries to further cities in sites within the country. YPT will continue strive to offer the most innovative and diverse range of tours to the DPRK. We are also planning to operate tours during all major holidays, as well as throughout the year, on the previously scheduled dates.
We will continue to monitor the situation and provide timely updates as soon as we have more clarity.
